Cashtivity is a project based learning platform for students to collaborate and build a real business, as part of their classroom education. It is the digital tool for providing live entrepreneurship experiences in school settings. The platform has been developed through iterative cycles with 14 classroom cohorts over 18 months, with teachers organically embedding Cashtivity for experiential learning as part of their school curriculum. We have live customers and we are in discussions for a pilot in China. Our plan is to shift the product from invite only to a release (v2) starting with SF/Bay Area schools from April 2015. Teachers need no special skills to teach using Cashtivity. Students work in teams to brainstorm ideas, identify their customers, create simple business plans, sell and bank, all through the platform.
