Maths Pathway is a new social enterprise working to transform the way mathematics is taught. Our vision is of an Australia where all high school graduates have outstanding numeracy outcomes. But right now, the reality is that less than 1 in 15 high-school graduates have a working knowledge of mathematics. Our levers for change are an innovative online learning tool and accompanying professional development, which together empower classroom teachers to remove units of work where students learn things in batches, and replace them with individual mastery. Maths Pathway is an all-in-one eTextbook, data collection/assessment tool, and lesson planning tool. This approach is show to be extremely effective by respected academics, teachers and evidence from the classroom.
