We require an engineer to develop a way to mine sales data from our retailers website. The information is publicly available, we just want an automated method to gather information. Currently we have to manually gather the information (around 40 minutes per item, we need information on 10 different items) Our retailers website is www.danmurphys.com.au Here are the steps to gathering data manually... 1. Go to www.danmurphys.com.au 2. Set up an account 3. Set store to "Double Bay" or postcode 2000 4. Search for product "La Mascara High Tea White Peach" 5. Add item to cart 6. Click "View Cart" - top right of page 7. Change quantity of item to 30 "packs" 8. You'll notice that underneath the quantity entered there will be an amount "available" in that particular store. We need to record that number for each store. We have postcodes and store names for 184 stores. 9. Type in the next store - postcode 2015 10. Click "update cart" - the amounts change to reflect the amount available.
