HOTDESK is ultimately a shared office and coworking space booking platform which provides hosts with the ability to list their vacant office space, whether it be one desk or an entire floor, for a day, week, month or more. The HOTDESK NOW 'office in your wallet' solution is in its embryonic stages with the first location, in Melbourne, installed in June 2013. The offering is essentially the result of a collaboration with physical access control company, H5Secure, and enables traveling freelancers and business people to book a space using the HOTDESK app in realtime. This activates their HOTDESK RFID card and permits them access to the space and wireless internet for the duration of their booking.
