SparkLeap helps product inventors take concepts from sketch to manufacturable/3D-printable engineering drawings. It's a Kickstarter, or more broadly a product launch precursor. SparkLeap is built upon the following primary assumptions: 1: Advances in 3D printing makes prototyping/iterating/refining a concept more achievable, and the dev cycles quicker than ever before. 2: Crowd funding platforms have made an inventors' ability to commercialise a product easier than ever before. 3: Without Industrial Design/Engineering (CAD) knowledge, the product launch barrier, to the average 'inventor', is no lower than before #1 and #2 became true. We believe that solving #3 will result in order of magnitude growth within the 3D printing and crowd funding industries. Our goal with Sparkleap is to resolve this final barrier by bringing accredited industrial designers and 3D printing services together within one intuitive and 'inventor-friendly' freelancing platform.
