Catalyst simplifies the complexity of modern integrated urban planning. From houses to cities, urban planning is a cross-domain problem (energy, water, waste, transport, social and economics). Half the work is specialised consultants and tools producing data in silos, and the other half is manual integration, making changes and going back to the start. Catalyst is a Web-based platform that takes the pain out of integrating and collaborating on the whole urban planning lifecycle, from data and simulation to scenario testing and reports. It is designed not to replace, but to unify the disparate tools and expertise already in use into a precinct-specific "application" that can evolve and remain relevant over time.
