The V-Patch system is a recently FDA-cleared and CE-Marked patient-friendly, high-yielding, real-time, wireless cardiac arrhythmia detection system. It is composed of state of the art electrode biosensors wearable for up to a week that create a clear 3-channel ECG signal. The V-Patch analyses every beat, on the body, using a rhythm recognition algorithm that automatically captures, identifies and reports the cardiac events using a combination of rate variability and wave morphology. Encrypted ECG data is sent via a mobile phone via low-energy r-f transmission. Cell phone networks transmit ECG to a web-hosted solution where alerts and reports are available which may be sent immediately to a physician or clinician by a desktop, laptop, smart phone or Pad. Unlike other systems built around high (and declining) reimbursements, V-Patch is globally scalable.
